LimitState Director to present at SCI UK Steel Construction Day

LimitState director, Matthew Gilbert, will present at the Steel Construction Institute (SCI) UK Steel Construction Day on Innovative Steel Solutions at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London on Thursday 7 November 2019.

Professor Gilbert will introduce layout optimisation techniques and how these can be applied to a range of structural design problems, looking at the opportunities for these techniques, but also the potential pitfalls. Examples will be illustrated using LimitState:FORM.
